Hi friends!

We are Blaine and Shanni (and Poppy James and Goldie Lou!), the family behind Wildwood Weekender.

We started coming to Lake Wildwood as Weekenders ourselves, having bought a home here to escape the hustle and bustle of the Silicon Valley and its endless (and sometimes soul-sucking) demands.

To say that we fell completely in love with Lake Wildwood would be the understatement of the century.  With each trip to Lake Wildwood we left more and more of our hearts (and stuff!) over the years. The main pull that kept us going back to the Bay Area was our jobs, but after a combined 30 years working in high-tech at Apple we decided that we needed a change of pace for our family and made the hop, skip, and jump to Lake Wildwood full time.

Having been blessed to own vacation homes, we have learned many hard (and costly!) lessons about all of the mishaps that can take an otherwise amazing weekend and send it south, or the panic attacks of the Home Alone moments when arriving back home (you know what I’m talking about- the moment Kate McCallister realizes something is wrong and can’t figure out what it is until she’s halfway to Paris and shouts, “KEVIN!”).

We would often joke that the only thing that could make Lake Wildwood better would be if we had an “advance team” and “follow up crew” like celebrities do to eliminate these moments, and thus our idea for Wildwood Weekender was born. 

Our goal at Wildwood Weekender is to make our clients love every single minute that they spend at Lake Wildwood and have peace of mind that their property is being looked after while they are away: whether you are a full time resident or weekender.  We truly believe this makes for a better community and happier neighbors.
